In partnership with the Bellevue School District, Bellevue LifeSpring provides free food during school breaks for Bellevue students enrolled in the free and reduced-price lunch program.

Children receive boxes of easy-to-prepare breakfast and lunch items to substitute for meals they would normally get at school.

Included in the box is one week’s worth of pantry food, a grocery store voucher to buy perishables (such as fresh produce, bread, and milk) and a menu of suggested meal ideas.

Breaktime-Mealtime™ applications are included in the Bellevue School District back-to-school packet at the beginning of the school year. They are also available year-round at the school’s main office or Family Connections Center, or online. Completed applications can be returned to the school office or Family Connections Center.

Families can pick up food boxes at their youngest child’s school before each school break, during office hours.

Distribution usually occurs the week prior to Winter, Mid-Winter and Spring school breaks.

Eligible children can participate each year they attend Bellevue public schools.
