We partner with local organizations and businesses to host life-skill workshops for families at our Bellevue Family Hubs. The workshops are offered in person and virtually and are free for families to attend. Childcare is also provided for parents while they attend the in-person sessions.
Past workshops have included Navigating the Healthcare System, Money Management Basics, Everything You Need to Know for Your Child’s Transition to Middle or High School, and more.
Tax Basics 101 Workshop

Learn the basics of taxes in this tax overview workshop with United Way of King County. Experts will provide tips and tools to help you understand what taxes are, determine your tax liability, and navigate the differences between W-2 (employee) and 1099 (contracting or self-employment) tax forms.
If you have any specific tax questions, please email them to Bellevue LifeSpring Team Member Ericka Belmontes at [email protected] by Friday, March 28th. She will share them with the tax expert to better tailor their presentation to our community’s needs.
