Leaving A Legacy

Anu and Naveen Jain have been amongst Bellevue LifeSpring’s strongest and longest supporters. Anu serves on Bellevue LifeSpring’s Board of Directors and both Anu and Naveen are established philanthropists and community leaders. Amongst their many passions are eliminating hunger and access to education. Anu and Naveen have stepped up and are the first major donors in Bellevue LifeSpring’s Legacy Giving campaign. They have committed $250,000 over the next five years to ensure that Bellevue’s children have a brighter future.

Donors to the Legacy Giving campaign commit 50% of their gift to current programming and 50% to the Bellevue LifeSpring Endowment Fund. In this way, supporters ensure the sustainability of Bellevue LifeSpring programs today and tomorrow.

Who will be impacted by this gift? Over 3,700 students are living in poverty in the Bellevue School District. Of these, more than 200 are homeless. These numbers are shocking for any community but especially for one with Bellevue’s wealth of resources. For these children and their families, Anu and Naveen’s gift means continued support through Bellevue LifeSpring’s programs that feed, clothe, educate and provide emergency assistance to help them break the cycle of poverty.

“It is important for us to create a legacy where we can ensure that there is always help for those in need within our community,” shared Anu. “We also want to create a spirit of giving for future generations.” Bellevue LifeSpring is grateful for the Jains’ leadership and commitment to provide immediate support for families in crisis as well as a lasting impact for Bellevue’s children.
