Pearl is a Clemmie Evans Circle member and has provided over 30 years of service to her Bellevue community. She is passionate about giving back and supporting others. Pearl herself grew up in a low-income household, and when she became an adult and in a position where she could give back, that’s precisely what she did.
Pearl supports causes near and far, but she considers giving locally of utmost importance. Bellevue LifeSpring’s mission is meaningful to her because she cares deeply about supporting children. Pearl is specifically passionate about helping to prevent hunger and homelessness. “I believe if everyone in a community did their part to help their neighbors in need, then there wouldn’t be any children who have to suffer or live in poverty,” shared Pearl.
There is a longstanding tradition that Pearl has of making the most delicious homemade jam with local berries, all grown right here in Bellevue. Every year she sells her jams to friends and family members and donates the profits to local causes she’s passionate about. “We are so grateful for passionate neighbors and circle members like Pearl, who use their skills, time, and energy to help make their community a better place. Pearl just warms my heart and makes me smile,” shared Executive Director Jennifer Fischer.
Over 25 Years of Commitment to Bellevue Kids
For Bellevue LifeSpring, community volunteering and financial support have always powered our mission of providing stability and self-sufficiency for Bellevue children and their families.
As an organization with a rich history of over a hundred years of service, we have the privilege of being part of a dedicated community of neighbors here in Bellevue. Year after year Bellevue LifeSpring Circle Members, volunteers, and donors show up in different ways to support the wellbeing of local children. There is no better example of this commitment than our Life Members.
Life Members are Bellevue LifeSpring Circle Members who have been involved with our organization for 25 years or more. Circle Members and their grassroots support are a key piece to the success of our programs that provide food, clothing, education, and emergency assistance.
Currently, there are over 30 Bellevue LifeSpring Life Members. Each member is part of an extensive network of neighbors that truly make a difference in the everyday lives of thousands of Bellevue children.
Our Life Members have played an important role in growing our organization to what it is today. Our members have seen many changes over the years as they have watched the organization grow and adapt to meet the rising demands of our community.
