Right here in Bellevue, there are mothers working multiple jobs to pay rent and make ends meet. There are families who are one unexpected crisis away from experiencing hunger or homelessness. There are parents who are seeking a brighter future for their families — one that is filled with hope.
Bellevue LifeSpring’s goal is to foster stability and self-sufficiency for Bellevue’s children and their families through programs that provide food, clothing, education, and emergency assistance.

Your Gift Will Support Mothers Like Tess
Tess’s story is similar to many single parents in need here in Bellevue. By the time Tess and her two daughters connected to Bellevue LifeSpring, they had already been struggling for a few months. Tess’s unemployment benefits had run out, and she was relying on food stamps as her only means of feeding her daughters. After finding herself in a position where she could not catch up on rent, the family became immediately at risk of being evicted from their apartment in Bellevue.
Tess reached out to the Family Connection Center staff member at her daughter’s school, who referred her to Bellevue LifeSpring. Thanks to the support of our community, we were able to cover their back rent and their current month’s rent — helping the family avoid eviction. This support has lightened their burden and gives Tess and her girls the stability needed while Tess continues to seek out employment.
