Children from low-income households and children experiencing homelessness here in Bellevue need your support!
Every school in the Bellevue School District has students who are at risk of hunger every day. More than 3,497 Bellevue children, 20% of the student population, are enrolled in their school’s federal free and reduced-price lunch program. The number of Bellevue children experiencing some form of homelessness is 265. These are the reported numbers, but we know there are more. Some families do not want to come forward due to the fear and embarrassment surrounding the social stigmas associated with being identified as low-income or experiencing homelessness.
Give where you live and invest in your community today to help provide support to Bellevue’s most vulnerable children.
