We are thrilled to introduce you to our new team member, Celeste Reyes! Celeste has joined our Human Services team and will be working directly with Bellevue families to help ensure they have the support they need.
Celeste grew up in Seattle and lives locally here in Bellevue. She is no stranger to being an advocate for local children and families. In fact, before joining Bellevue LifeSpring, she worked as a Housing Stability Advocate for a local non-profit.
Celeste shared that she enjoys non-profit work because it’s meaningful and she appreciates being part of creating successful moments for families in need.

What inspired you to join our team as a Human Services Administrator?
In my previous position, I worked with young children and families and enjoyed collaborating with the Bellevue School District staff to prepare children for success. The advocacy for the children and families in the district is inspirational, and I’m enthusiastic about working in close partnership with them once again in my new role.
What are you most excited about in your new role here?
I’m excited to work with people who share the same vision to cultivate stability and self-sufficiency, particularly in housing security, for children and families in the Bellevue community. Especially during a time when housing instability is an increasing crisis. I’m thrilled to work with a team characterized by compassion for the individuals we serve and to contribute to the advancement of our mission.
What does community mean to you?
Community means being a good neighbor by giving a hand to another despite our differences. When we work together in unity, there is nothing that can’t be achieved.
What is your favorite place here in Bellevue?
One of my favorite places in Bellevue is the Meydenbauer Beach Park. It is a gem of natural attraction and has a nice view of Lake Washington. In the summer, the water is warm, and I enjoy the sand on my feet.
