You did it! You helped raise $1.4 million for Bellevue kids!

We are pleased to report that thanks to our community’s generosity, we exceeded our goal of raising $1.4 million by December 31 to prevent hunger and homelessness for Bellevue children! Your support brought much-needed hope and stability to thousands of Bellevue families who are experiencing poverty.

Here’s what your investments made possible:

  • Instead of having to skip meals, children had the nutrition they needed to learn, grow and succeed in their schoolwork.
  • Instead of having to sleep in a car, at a shelter, or on a friend’s couch, kids in need slept in their own warm beds.
  • Instead of choosing between rent and food, parents who lost their jobs were able to provide shelter for their children.

Since the pandemic hit last year in mid-March, your support has provided 735,180 meals to low-income students. Together, we have also prevented 664 children from experiencing homelessness.

Bellevue LifeSpring is one of the only places for Bellevue families to turn in their time of need. Your investments made it possible to not turn away any local family who was at risk of hunger or homelessness in 2020

Bellevue Downtown Association Celebrates Your Achievement

If you were at Downtown Park on New Year’s Day, you might have seen the park glowing green and orange. The Bellevue Downtown Association celebrated our communitys achievement of meeting this fundraising goal during their Season of Cheer by changing the holiday lights in Downtown Park to Bellevue LifeSpring colors

Bellevue Downtown Associations Season of Cheer, presented by Symetra, is part of their Heart of Bellevue campaign. This campaign showcases local businesses and connects the Bellevue community to local stories, events and more. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate this collective accomplishment with our neighbors in such a festive way.

Thank you to every Bellevue neighbor who helped us reach our goal of supporting Bellevue kidsThe fight against poverty starts in our own backyard.

When we give where we live, we all benefit.
