Join us in welcoming Juan to the Bellevue LifeSpring family! Juan is our new Family Support Administrator and will work with our team to ensure that Bellevue families receive the supportive services they need.
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Medellín, Colombia, Juan holds a diverse educational background, studying Computer Science and Cinema and Media Communication Engineering. His professional journey is equally varied, having served as a Software Engineer, Product Manager, Teacher, and Video Maker and Editor.
Juan’s unique blend of experiences has shaped his approach to problem-solving and deeply informs his commitment to community service. Juan shared, “When I lived in Barcelona, I volunteered for an organization that helped refugees learn to code, and I really loved it. I taught programming languages, and since then, I have been very motivated to collaborate or work with organizations that change people’s realities.”

Why is Bellevue LifeSpring’s mission meaningful to you?
I believe that education is the common solution for many challenges, including poverty. Supporting families and children in achieving educational success is an amazing duty, and through Bellevue LifeSpring’s work, we have the power to truly transform lives.
What do you hope to achieve in your new role?
In my new role, my goal is to gather and share the information necessary to help people in the best way possible. I am committed to ensuring that every family has access to the support and resources they need.
What does community mean to you?
To me, community means support and shared objectives. It’s about coming together to uplift one another through common goals and mutual care.
What could we find you doing outside of work?
Outside of work, you might find me playing sports, traveling, or enjoying a nice walk with my dog.
