Thankful for you!

Bellevue LifeSpring has so much to be thankful for this holiday season, starting with you! Our gratitude is overflowing for the Bellevue community members, neighbors, and local businesses who have stepped up this year to give where they live and support Bellevue kids.

The pandemic has and continues to be devastating for Bellevue children from low-income families. Currently, every school in the Bellevue School District has students at risk of hunger and homelessness — approximately 20% of the student population. The number of students in need of food support is increasing steadily, and families in economic crisis continue to seek rent support.

The need in our community remains high, but there is hope. Thanks to the support of local community members, Bellevue LifeSpring hasn’t turned away any family in need of assistance this year.

Your collective generosity has touched the lives of so many children here in Bellevue.

Your support provided food vouchers to a single mom who lost her job — helping ensure she had enough food to feed her daughter and son.

Your support covered a month of rent for a local father working on getting back on his feet — preventing his daughter from experiencing the traumas of homelessness.

Your support provided clothing vouchers to a student whose parents didn’t qualify for unemployment — helping ensure she had new clothing on her first day of middle school.

Your support provided snack packs to a local school — ensuring a fourth-grader who was missing meals at home could stay focused in the classroom.

This thanksgiving, your support will ensure a local family in need can share a warm meal together.

These are just a few examples of the impact you made when you decided to support Bellevue LifeSpring. Together, we can ensure all Bellevue children have their basic needs met so that they can succeed and graduate high school.

On behalf of so many Bellevue families, thank you, and have a happy Thanksgiving!
