Volunteer

We offer a diverse range of engagement options, catering to corporate groups, students seeking SSL hour opportunities, and individuals looking to donate their time. Join us in making a meaningful impact by generously contributing your time and involvement.

Volunteer as an individual or group: We host and participate in community engagement opportunities throughout the year where we need volunteer support – like our Uncork the Night gala or Bellevue-centric community events like Downtown Bellevue’s Summer Movies in the Park.

We welcome corporate groups, volunteer groups, families, and individuals looking to engage in a variety of volunteer opportunities — all to benefit Bellevue children!

Join a Circle: Bring a social aspect to your philanthropy and join one of our seven Bellevue LifeSpring Membership Circles. Our membership circles are organized within neighborhoods or shared communities and support Bellevue LifeSpring fundraising and volunteer events.

As a circle member, you are an ambassador of Bellevue LifeSpring and can directly participate in our mission in a truly meaningful way. Learn more.

Become a Family Advocate:

Help create a welcoming and warm experience for Bellevue families who visit our Bellevue Family Hub resource center and become a Family Advocate Volunteer. Family Advocates serve as family greeters to help check in families and help support our Human Services staff with appointments. Volunteers who speak Spanish and Mandarin Chinese are encouraged to sign-up, but it is not a requirement. Family Advocate Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older and must pass a Bellevue School District background check. Family Advocates will also participate in a training session before volunteering. To get started, please email HubVolunteer@bellevuelifespring.org.

Join the Youth Council:  Are you a High School student interested in giving back to your community and earning SSL hours? The Bellevue LifeSpring Youth Council is made up of local high school students who plan and organize events and initiatives that help support our mission.

If you’re interested in becoming a member, contact Youth Council Chair Avanya at avanyakohli@gmail.com.

Donate food to Renewal Food Bank: Our community partners at Renewal Food Bank are in need of food donations for local families. The most current needs are tuna, peanut butter, ramen noodles and instant meals, canned soup, oatmeal, pasta, cooking and baking supplies (oil, flour, boxed kits, spices, etc.)

Donations can be made at any of the following times: Mondays: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesdays: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Renewal Food Bank is located at 15022 Bel-Red Road, Bellevue, Washington 98007. Please call (425) 736-8132 for questions about donating food.
