Looking for a way to give back?
Although we can’t host volunteers in person due to the COVID-19 crisis, there are still ways that you can make a difference from a distance. Here are three things you can do to help us ensure 3,500 Bellevue children in need do not experience hunger and homelessness.
1. Share our story:
Create a Facebook fundraiser and rally your network to help support Bellevue children. Starting a fundraiser is easy – start here! All of the funds you raise will go directly to our COVID-19 emergency response fund.
or
Email and ask a friend to join you in supporting Bellevue kids.
Not sure what to say? Here is a sample email template for you to copy and paste:
Dear (insert name),
Please join me in supporting Bellevue LifeSpring’s emergency response fund so that no child in Bellevue experiences hunger or homelessness during this uncertain time. Bellevue LifeSpring is working directly with the Bellevue School District to feed children who rely on daily meal assistance. For many of these families, this is the primary nourishment their children receive every day. In addition to nutrition support, Bellevue LifeSpring is supporting families who were at risk of experiencing homelessness with rent support services.
Donations may be made online at www.BellevueLifeSpring.org/donate
