Live Auction Item #2: Viva, España: A Private Paella Party in Medina—BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND—Saturday, August 9, 2025 (Value: $250 per person)

Maximum 60 guests

Paella is not just a meal—it’s a gastronomical experience! Watch as the maestro chef Antonio Sanchez creates an authentic, savory Spanish dish before your eyes in an enormous Spanish paella pan. Antonio was trained by some of the best paella chefs in Spain.

Antonio will cook the paella outside, using special equipment and an array of natural, colorful, and authentic ingredients. Spanish rice, Northwest seafood, Iberian sausage, fresh vegetables, and the key ingredient, saffron—one of the most expensive spices in the world—are combined to create a vibrant explosion of Spanish flavor. The best Spanish wines will be served, including ones from fifth-generation Spanish winemaker Valdemar Estates.

Guests will enjoy the Spanish cooking demonstration and gastronomical feast at the lovely Medina home of Randi and Joseph Brazen, owners of Central Bar + Restaurant and 520 Bar & Grill. It’s an evening to remember. This Spanish fiesta also includes appetizers, a pit-roasted pig, and an open bar. Ole!
