Family Advocate Volunteer

Become a Family Advocate Volunteer!

In partnership with the Bellevue School District, we launched the Bellevue Family Hub — our first in-person family resource center at Highland Middle School. The Hub is a warm and inviting place where Bellevue students and families visit and access the support they need.

Families receive personal and individual guidance from Bellevue LifeSpring Family Advocate Volunteers. Volunteers serve as family greeters to help check families in when they arrive and also help families order new back-to-school clothing through Amazon. Volunteers are trained for both roles.

Spanish and Mandarin Chinese-speaking volunteers are encouraged to sign-up!

Are you interested in joining our Family Advocate Volunteer team? We’d love that!

Family Advocate Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older. Proof of vaccination is required, and volunteers must pass a Bellevue School District background check. Family Advocates will also participate in a training session before volunteering.

To sign up and start the volunteer onboarding process, please email HubVolunteer@bellevuelifespring.org.

The Bellevue Family Hub is a welcoming place where students and families are able to easily access multiple, compassionate support services in one space.

Family advocates at the Hub are focused on supporting strengths, empowering families, and creating community in an equitable and inclusive manner.

The Hub will help to break down barriers encountered on the pathway to graduation, allowing all Bellevue students to learn and thrive as creators of their future world.
