Benefiting the Breaktime-Mealtime™ Program
"Breaktime-Mealtime is an awesome program for my kids. I have three kids at Lake Hills Elementary School and it seems that they are growing a lot over their break from school, so they need the extra food to keep them healthy and growing well. I am so grateful for this program."
-Wendy, mom of Joey, Jake and Kendra
Twenty-one percent of children in Bellevue public schools qualify for the free or reduced price lunch program, which means they live at or near the Federal Poverty Line. Bellevue LifeSpring's Breaktime-Mealtime program provides these children with thousands of nutritious meals during school breaks every year, ensuring that they return to the classroom healthy and ready to learn.
